Nathan Kinkead: WordPress Guru

Hi, my name is Nathan and I’m a WordPress-aholic.

But seriously, I’ve been a PHP web developer for over 20 years. I’ve been Web Development Manager / Director for multiple successful agencies for over 11 years, leading teams of developers, and specializing in WordPress.

At my last agency job, at eCreations, my team was 100% dedicated to developing with WordPress. We pretty much didn’t do anything else. We were also the only certified WooCommerce experts in the state of Arizona.

I’m constantly amazed with the stuff we’re able to do with WordPress. I’ve built some super complicated projects making WordPress do things it was never intended to do. It’s awesome.

But enough about me… what about this blog?

Crazy Passive Income by Blogging on WordPress

This is not my first blog. In fact, my first blog was (and still is) very successful. In its 3rd year, it more than doubled my income from my day job.

With only spending about 3-4 hours each Saturday morning, but doing it consistently, that blog was reaching 150,000 page views per month and generating fantastic passive income for me and my family.

With a wife and 5 little boys, the extra income has opened up so many possibilities for my family that I never thought could happen.

This experience has given me a passion to share all the things I’ve learned along the way and to encourage others to find their success with blogging.

I’m knowledgeable in a lot of different areas, but if I was to pick one where I had the most expertise, it would be WordPress.

That mixed with my passion to help other achieve success with WordPress led me to start this blog.

My WordPress Plugins

While setting up a bbPress forum on my other blog, I searched for a plugin that would give my users the ability to vote up and down on topics and replies. I searched and searched, but it didn’t exist!

So, having had plenty of experience developing plugins, I decided to build it myself.

Do you use bbPress for forums on WordPress? If so, you absolutely need to get my bbPress Voting plugin. On top of giving visitors up/down voting capabilities on topics and replies, it also shows scores, sorting, and much more. It’s a must-have for bbPress!
